The Urban Music Jam Session at Groove Et Graffiti is an immersive experience designed for both aspiring musicians and urban music enthusiasts. This free event invites participants of all skill levels to explore the rhythms, techniques, and creativity of hip hop and other urban music genres in a supportive and interactive environment. The event aims to celebrate local talent, encourage collaboration, and provide a platform for artists to experiment and share their music with the community.

The program begins at 2:00 PM with an open rehearsal and soundcheck session, where participants are encouraged to bring instruments, laptops, or any audio equipment to test sounds, beats, and setups. Experienced DJs and music producers will be present to provide guidance, technical tips, and mentorship for newcomers. This initial session allows attendees to familiarize themselves with the space, network with other musicians, and prepare for collaborative performances later in the day.

From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, workshops and masterclasses will take place. Topics include beat-making techniques, freestyle rapping, rhythm and flow, DJing basics, and music production tips. Each workshop is designed to be interactive, with attendees able to participate in exercises, ask questions, and receive personalized feedback from instructors. At 5:00 PM, the jam session officially begins. Musicians, singers, rappers, and instrumentalists will come together to perform improvised sets, create live collaborations, and experiment with different urban music styles. From 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, a showcase segment will feature selected performances from the jam session. The event concludes with a networking and reflection session from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
